| Dr. Rosemary (Rosie) AtkinsonMBBS, DCH, BSc, FRACGPGENERAL PRACTITIONER I graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2004. I worked in various areas of the hospital system before completing specialist training in General Practice in 2013. Since Fellowship, I have worked in general practice clinics before ultimately developing a special interest in weight management and establishing a multidisciplinary weight management clinic in Sydney in 2021. I have realised how common mental health struggles are, particularly ADHD and disordered eating, amongst my patients with weight concerns. Supporting patients in these areas has become a deeply rewarding aspect of my practice. I am a member of the RACGP (Royal Australia College of General Practitioner), as well as of the Special Interest Groups for Obesity Management and ADHD, ASD and Neurodiversity. I am a member of ANZMOSS, IFSO and I have achieved SCOPE Certification. I am passionate about different models of care being utilised to allow for better, more timely access to mental health services.
