ADHD Assessment & Care
At AOA Clinic, we make ADHD care straightforward and accessible. We connect individuals aged 16 years and over with independent providers who offer personalised, evidence-based assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing support, helping ensure consistent and practical care across Australia.
Real-World Executive Function
Executive function is measured where life happens.
Executive dysfunction is not just about how someone performs in a quiet testing room. It is about how attention, organisation, motivation, emotional regulation and follow-through affect everyday life.
Work & Career
Deadlines, emails, projects, meetings, time management and follow-through.
Home & Life Admin
Bills, appointments, routines, paperwork, household tasks and daily organisation.
Relationships
Communication, emotional regulation, reliability, conflict and follow-through.
Study & Learning
Planning, concentration, revision, assignments, deadlines and independent learning.
Health & Wellbeing
Sleep, exercise, medication routines, self-care and maintaining healthy habits.
Clinical Assessment
We explore real-world functioning across settings — not simply performance on isolated cognitive tasks.
The best measure of executive functioning is how it affects your everyday life.
The ADHD assessment process involves 3 appointments.
1st GP Appointment
Review of medical history and assessment planning.
2nd GP Appointment
Includes DIVA assessment and referral to psychiatrist. A family member or childhood friend should attend this appointment.
Psychiatrist Appointment
Comprehensive diagnostic assessment, clinical review, and treatment recommendations where appropriate. You will receive a detailed diagnostic report outlining assessment findings, diagnosis (if applicable), and recommended next steps.
Appointments available online.
