Patients Responsibilities

  • It is the patient's responsibility to ensure they are eligible for Medicare item numbers, if when processing the billing Medicare deems you in eligible - the next appropriate item number will be used. This means the rebate may differ from what it quoted.
  • Collateral information is required in the form of interview with family member/friend who can speak about your childhood (+/- primary/early high school reports depending on circumstances.) Otherwise, the assessment is unable to go ahead.
  • Patients must be residing in VIC, QLD, NSW, SA, ACT, NT or WA. If residing in TAS, your local GP must be aware of your review and willing to apply for a permit to initiate prescribing if diagnosed.
